Over the holidays, I was working on creating a new art project for my class based on the Old Lady Who Swallowed a Rose. (They had the books and CD in the Scholastic order form this month so I was excited to grab those at a great price in preparation for all my fun learning activities.) So, I sat at my kitchen table to prep the art project, make the tracers, and assemble my old lady. My daughter/assistant HAD to help! And honestly, what fun is it to do art alone!?!
Here is the cheapo activity I made for you guys. (Only cheap in price, I promise!)

And here is my sweet baby's creation!
Honestly, the eyes freak me out a little bit, but she loves it and proudly displayed her art in the pantry door for us to see daily. I think it is totally sweet!

Special Teacher for Special Kids
Thank you for those cute ideas! I am a new blogger and would love to get my name out there in the teacher blogging world. I am a K teacher right outside of Nashville (Franklin). I am having a difficult time tapping in and friending other teacher bloggers :) Any advice/shout outs would be tremendously appreciated!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
