Blog Swap

I am so excited to participate in the Blog Swap again!
This is a chance bloggers get to look at another bloggers unit and tell you about it.

I love buying, preparing, and using TEACHER made items because they always seem to know exactly what I need and they can make it FUN!

Today I am so lucky to get to swap items with Caitlin from Kindergarten Smiles.
She is one of my favorite bloggers out there. Visit here {here.}

I was able to get my hands on her brand new BATS unit. It is going to be prefect for Halloween!

Caitlin never disappoints me with any unit she creates. She worked so hard on this and it shows. It is full of bath fun activities that are meaningful and aligned to the Common Core for you. There are LOTS of printables and she did a great job of making sure the activities would print in B&W! This is one of my favorite printable in the pack.
I don't know how my students are going to do on this sheet, but I think it will be a GREAT challenge for them and something I have never done with them before! I know some of my students will love it and it is going to rock another few students' world! FUN!

Thanks Caitlin... you did my lesson plans for me for the next two weeks!
My kids will send you their love and kisses for all the games and activities.

  1. What do you for the kids that don't celebrate Halloween? I have 2 of those and then one Jehovah's Witness. I would love a set like this but feel like I can't use it.

    1. Sorry for the slow response. This unit is NOT Halloween based and will be great to use with JW students.

  2. Thanks so much for posting Mary!! I love all of your items that I was able to 'review' and so do my kids!!!!

    Ms. Akin, most of the items in the bat unit are only about bats. There are only a couple activities that have 'Halloween' images. I have had students in the past who were unable to participate in Halloween activities, because of this, our kindergarten team only teaches non-fiction units on bats and spiders during the month of October. :)
