Recipe for Reading

I am guest blogging today at
check it out here.
Many of you have asked me about my county's current phonics program...
Recipe for Reading.
(I do not have the workbook, but I do have this book.)
This letter order is C, O, A, D, G...
I have been remaking my phonics activities using this new letter order but keeping in mind the things I liked about Saxon worksheets.

Here is what all the Aa phonics sheets look like! And they are FREE.

I use these worksheets some days, but not every day.
I still use the sensory plates and plastic canvas sheets.
Here is my post about this phonics approach.

I generally use a worksheet Monday and Wednesday.
I use sensory approach on Tuesday and Thursday.
We do a whole group chart on Friday.

I only have Aa, Dd, and Gg ready for now.

You can use this pack for additional phonics aid with letter formation if you want to.
(This one is not free.)
Here on TN, Here on TpT
Here is a quick peek at the pack...
I did add a cute "sun" in the sky that isn't on this preview.
Please let me know what you think of these and if you want to see more of them by commenting below.
I hope they are helpful for you.

  2. I am planning on making them weekly. This way, I can make them the best I can for kids. I hope I can just add to the pack little by little. (I will have to go back and do the letters C and O from the first two weeks of school.)

I am so glad they will be helpful! THANKS for commenting and letting me know.
