What a FUN week we had at school with the letter Dd and the book, If You Give a Dog a Donut.
Here is a peek...
We did some creative writing, a dog art project, we also went on a Dd letter hunt in the room.
We listened to the book, made donuts (yummy!), and created and read donut words.
I created these cute labels to send home to my parents as a prompt to get their little learners talking.
(I have learned that students always say, "I didn't do anything at school today." This way parents can ask them a direct question and remind the student of something we did.)

Have you ever made donuts with your children at school?
WAY fun and easy with the mini donut maker.)
It was a Christmas gift this past year.
What if your favorite letter Dd activity?

I absolutely LOVE the idea of sending home labels that give parents information about "happenings" in the classroom. I am sure this totally changes the "What did you do in school today?" conversation. Brilliant!!!!
