Some one asked me some advice for teaching K after teaching 3rd Grade. I thought LOTS of you may want to know what I think... if not just scroll down a bunch... and others may need the reminder to get refreshed in the ways of K. Because... let's face it K is just a different ballgame!

What tips or advice do you have for a new K teacher?
Thank you for these great reminders!!! I have to always remind myself that I am the teacher, and they're not supposed to know how to do certain things!!! It's ok, and they WILL learn!

ReplyDeleteYou are so right. I find that by the end of the year they have it. When I meet my new class, it is always a bit of a jolt! They know nothing. Great advise. Love and praise go a long way.
