Welcome to Day 3 of the Back to School Blog Hunt!
I hope you enjoyed Day 1 with Debbie from Rainbows within Reach and
Day 2 with Lynda from Curls and a Smile
Today I get to share the day with Sarah from {here is the link}
I have a great tip for back to school time AND I have done most of the work FOR you.
A few years ago my assistant thought we should create absentee folders for the students who were not at school. So, I went to my computer and made these *oh so cute* folders.
(Did you notice my sarcastic here!?! They are SO ugly, but they work!)
I made them about 5 years ago!
I added the cover, laminated the folder, and spliced open the pockets. Now when a student is absent I get a folder out for them, white their name on the cover with a dry erase marker, and put their work inside of it. When they return to school, the folder goes home with them.
But... I had to make the covers better... cuter... and FREE of course.
I made 12 different covers... some are generic and some are themed. You can pick which one(s) work for you.

What color Polka Dots?
DeleteCould you make a set with a teal background and white polka dots? This is so helpful in the classroom! THank you so much for offering these!
DeleteI updated the google doc just now to include this. I had to spend a LOT on the graphics, but I LOVE them. It is as close to teal as I could get... I hope you LOVE it too.
DeleteThese are adorable! How can I get to the google doc for the owl one? :) Can you make one with a zebra and pink or green polka dot theme?! That would be so fabulous!!!
DeleteWhat a great idea! I need to make these for my classroom. Do you have a monkey theme? If not, please don't go to any trouble making one. I really like frogs too and I saw one with that theme in your set.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your super cute idea.
